O feet of patience carry me, for what remains is little

Basmallah

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
[2:153]

“To be patient is difficult but to lose the reward for being patient is worse.”
[A saying attributed to Ali may Allah be pleased with him]

Holding the soul from worry
Thank Allah سبحانه و تعالى for his blessings that He bestowed upon you when Shaitan reminds you of your problems.

Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire. [35:6]

Hold your tongue from complaining. Surely being patient is to hold oneself from worrying and complaining.

Allah سبحانه و تعالى is closer to you than your jugular vein. He knows what you are going through more than you know yourself. He surely does know it. But he is الرَّحْمَٰنُ and الرَّحِيمُ (The Most Gracious and the Most Merciful). So whatever He is making you go through He is doing it so only for your good. Though you may not be able to see it now. Don’t listen to the ‘What if’s’ of shaitan.
Think good about Allah despite the thoughts that come to your mind and make you anxious.
Does He not feed, clothe and protect those who are defiantly disobedient to Him?
Angel Jibril (Gabriel) put mud into the mouth of one of the biggest Tyrants while he was drowning out of fear that he might ask Allah to forgive him and that he might be saved by Allah’s mercy. [Tirmidhi]

” I am as My servant thinks (expects) I am. ”
[Bukhari, Hadith]

Shaitan (Satan) threatens you with poverty and orders you to commit Fahsha (evil deeds, illegal sexual intercourse, sins etc.); whereas Allah promises you Forgiveness from Himself and Bounty, and Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower. [2:268]

Be in private as you are in public. Surely good will come. It Is only a matter of time.

Be patient even in your mannerisms.

Call and Beg Allah Glorified and Exalted be He with His good names and with a good hope

Count your blessings. Take some time out sometime when you are free, relax  and look back at your life. On a diary write down all the blessings Allah Glorified and Exalted be He has bestowed upon you, all the prayers that He has answered. Keep it in a safe place. Go through it whenever you are feeling down or think you are low in Iman (Faith).

Hadith’s about being patient. Here are a few Hadith’s among the many that will In sha Allah (God Willing) encourage you to be patient.

Narrated ‘Ata bin Abi Rabah:

Ibn `Abbas said to me, “Shall I show you a woman of the people of Paradise?”
I said, “Yes.”
He said, “This black lady came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, ‘I get attacks of epilepsy and my body becomes uncovered; please invoke Allah for me.’ The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to her), ‘If you wish, be patient and you will have (enter) Paradise; and if you wish, I will invoke Allah to cure you.’ She said, ‘I will remain patient,’ and added, ‘but I become uncovered, so please invoke Allah for me that I may not become uncovered.’ So he invoked Allah for her.”
[Bukhari]

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:

Some Ansari persons asked for (something) from Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) (Peace Be Upon Him) and he gave them. They again asked him for (something) and he again gave them. And then they asked him and he gave them again till all that was with him finished.
And then he said “If I had anything. I would not keep it away from you. (Remember) Whoever abstains from asking others, Allah will make him contented, and whoever tries to make himself self-sufficient, Allah will make him self-sufficient. And whoever remains patient, Allah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience.”
[Bukhari]

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again. Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but he remains patient till Allah removes his difficulties.) And an impious wicked person is like a pine tree which keeps hard and straight till Allah cuts (breaks) it down when He wishes.”
[Bukhari]

Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him”.
[Muslim]

No amount of guilt can change the past. And no amount of worrying can change the future. Go easy on yourself, for the outcome of all affairs is determined by Allah’s decree. If something is meant to go elsewhere it will never come your way, but if it is yours by destiny, from it you cannot flee”
– Umar ibn Al Khattab (RA)

“Beware dear brother,
of corrupting your thoughts

Regarding the promise of the Diety,
Mighty and Strong…”

O Allah the One who turns hearts keep me steadfast upon your religion.

“…And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent. ” [65:2-3]
